San Diego County has so many wonderful places to visit and enjoy for free. Kids love time at the beach or in the countryside. Everything is easy to get to and often reachable by car in less than an hour from Downtown. Get your kids out in nature as much as you can. Or, for something different, visit the US Olympic Training Center and get in the spirit of the upcoming Olympic Games. Summer is a beautiful time in San Diego and you can build family memories without leaving this lovely home town.
