Constance Goldin, MA, is the Founder of Mom to Madre and President and Treasurer of the Board. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA Lic. Me16869). Connie is married to attorney, David Goldin. She assists her husband with his legal practice and is the mother of their two adult sons. She was a home educator for more than four years and was an active volunteer at schools during all phases of her sons’ education. Connie speaks and studies Spanish. Kathie Kellogg Taxe, Ph.D.

Kathie Kellogg Taxe, PhD. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA Lic. PSY15541) and has a private practice in Los Angeles, CA. She received her license in 1995. She has been married for 25 years and has two adult children. Kathie is active in the community and volunteers as a Docent at the Museum of Tolerance, leading groups of students. Marisa Weaver Maricich, RN, BSN, CPN

Marisa Weaver Maricich, RN, BSN, CPN is a Registered Nurse in Washington State, specializing in pediatric nursing. She has worked in both hospital and home settings. Marisa is a graduate of The Catholic University of America School of Nursing, with a minor in Spanish. She has been married for five and a half years and has two sons, four and two years old. Maria E. Rangel is the Translator and Spanish Editor of the Board of Directors of Mom to Madre. Maria is a certified Translator and Interpreter and is originally from Colombia. She is the mother of three grown children-a daughter, and two sons. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the Universidad Libre in Colombia. Osvaldo Soto,PhD
Member and Educator
Osvaldo “Ovie” is a Senior Program Associate Master Teaching Fellowship with Math for America -”Partnering with exceptional middle and high school math teachers in school districts throughout San Diego to make mathematics instruction more rigorous and eqitable for students.” – from Aug 2010 to present, in La Jolla, California. He is also a high school math teacher in the San Diego Unified School District at Patrick Henry High School. Ovie received his PhD from the University of California, San Diego in 2010 in Math Education. He has an MA from San Diego State University, 2004, in Mathematics, and his Bachelor’s degree is from Point Loma Nazarene University, 1994 in Mathematics and Religion.
